Each year on November 25, music fans have the chance to pick up rare and exclusive releases from their favorite artists at local record shops.

Conceived in 2007, Record Store Day now celebrates its 15th anniversary.

In the US, nearly 1400 independently owned record stores celebrate the day, and thousands of retailers around the world do the same. Today, there are Record Store Day participating stores on every continent except Antarctica.
