BMG today announced the release of two new singles from one of Germany's most successful rap artists, the rapper and producer CRO. The unreleased but long-awaited tracks, titled 'Sie' and 'Steht mir', are part of BMG's acquisition of recording rights to the first four hit albums and additional recordings by CRO, who was recently honored by BMG for one billion streams of his catalogue.

The release of the two singles from the extensive song catalogue of the exceptional German pop-rap artist comes just in time for Valentine's Day. The music video for the love song 'Sie' will be released today, while the video premiere of the track 'Steht mir' will take place just a few days later, on February 14.

BMG acquired in 2019 the recorded rights of CRO's successful albums Raop (2012), Melodie (2014), MTV Unplugged: CRO (2015), and Tru. (2017) including his well-known hit singles 'Whatever', 'Traum', and 'Bye Bye', all of which reached the Number One position in the Official German Charts. A decade after the release of his debut album, the fascination for CRO is still unbroken. The catalogue has been streamed more than one billion times worldwide. In 2022, the catalogue reached more than 450 million global audio streams. The now released singles 'Sie' and 'Steht mir' are previously unreleased material by the artist.

BMG has been working extensively on CRO's song catalogue for several years now, starting with the December 2021 release of the EASY X EP to mark the tenth anniversary of his debut single 'Easy', with which the German rapper and producer made his breakthrough into the mainstream in 2011.

Included were remix versions by artists Felix Jaehn and Roosevelt, a reworking of the song by Lambert, and a new recording by CRO himself. In April 2022, a reissue of the Tru vinyl, which sold out within a few days, followed by the release of a limited edition of his legendary and path-breaking debut album Raop as an orange vinyl version, on the occasion of the tenth anniversary in summer 2022.
