Ronan Keating thinks Zayn Malik will grow to regret leaving One Direction. 

The singer quit the group in March in order to live more like a normal twenty-something.

Speaking to heat, Boyzone star Keating said that whilst he understands why Malik left the band, some doubts may creep up on him.

The Irishman said: "I know what a pressure cooker being in a band like that can be. I felt like that too – I had to get out.

“But I don’t think he should have left. I think he should have taken a break instead. Because he will regret it. It’s a great band, a great opportunity. He’s a young lad, I think he will regret it.”

Rumours have circled recently suggesting Malik will rejoin One Direction, but they have so far proven to be false.
