Ronan Keating shows desire to see Boyzone and Westlife team up

Ronan Keating has again spoken of his desire to see Boyzone and Westlife team up.

Speculation of an Irish boyband supergroup forming has regularly reared its heads.

Speaking on this weekend's Johnathan Ross Show, Keating said a collaboration to mark Boyzone's 25th anniversary in 2018 would be "special".

He revealed: "We get on well, it would be very special for us to be able to mark that.

"25 years is a long time, it's amazing and we've left a lot of great memories with a lot of people and to do that again would be [amazing]."

The two boybands have previously performed live together, including as a tribute to the late Boyzone star Stephen Gately in 2010.

Speaking recently, Keating also said he would also be interested in collaborating with other groups, such as Girls Aloud.
