Ronan Keating has gone topless in a boxing ring for a new photoshoot.

The singer recently announced that he would be releasing his new solo album 'Fires' later this year as he looks to bounce back from his recent relationship split.

The shots, which will appear in an upcoming calendar, shows Keating topless in a boxing ring looking focused and determined.

His new album, meanwhile, is due for release in September and Keating said that it is going to be "proper pop". He said:

"The album is back to proper pop again. I've been working with the guys behind 'Life Is A Rollercoaster' again. I've been spending my time getting this album just right and I'm excited about people hearing it."
