Pop sensation Britney Spears has praised actress and singer Jennifer Lopez after watching the star's new movie, 'The Boy Next Door'. 

Lopez recently described the film as being about "a woman in a long marriage, her husband just cheated on her, and she’s kind of at the lowest point in her life. She’s at that moment and then this guy comes along — the boy next door shows up — and starts making her feel like she is worth something".

Spears has now revealed that she was moved by watching her portrayal of this female character on screen and took to her official Twitter page to thank her for being such an inspiration:

"Just saw the new movie "Boy Next Door". @JLo is so beautifully strong and inspiring... It's easy for us moms to feel dull and invisible at times but this put some pep in my step. Thank you, Jennifer, for being you."
