Pop sensation Britney Spears has now sold over 700,000 tickets for her Las Vegas residency, entitled Piece of Me, and sales have passed the $100 million mark. 

Caesars Entertainment confirmed the figure to Billboard this week and the musical production, which debuted on December 27, 2013, still has a few months left to run at the Axis at Planet Hollywood. Billboard reports that the "overall gross from the production now totals $103,399,634 since launching just over three years ago".

Back in November, the 'Till The World Ends' hitmaker told press that she was back in the studio working on new music: "I’m not sure what I want the next album to sound like, I just know that I’m excited to get into the studio again and actually have already been back recording.”
