Britney to host private charity dinner

Following the news that Britney Spears has become an ambassador for a charity that helps rebuild the homes and lives of Hurricane Katrina victims, the pop star has announced she will host a dinner for the cause.

On May 11, the 'Till The World Ends' hitmaker will host a private party in Beverly Hills to raise money for the St. Bernard Project. E! Online reports that her father, Jamie, who is a professional chef will run the kitchen to create typical Southern fare including jambalaya and Louisiana shrimp and grits.

Tickets for the exclusive event are available now, but come with a hefty price tag. Single seats are on sale for $2,500 apiece whilst a table will set buyers back a cool $10,000.
