Britney Spears' rep responds to "false" claims by The Wanted

A representative for Britney Spears has responded to claims by The Wanted that the pop singer had some odd backstage demands on tour.

The 'Glad You Came' boyband recently spoke out about being on tour with Spears, claiming that they were asked to face the wall and not look at her when she walked past.

It's the latest female pop star 'spat' that the Wanted have been embroiled in recently, after the band's Tom Parker rounded on Christina Aguilera for being unresponsive whilst they appeared on her show The Voice USA.

Speaking to E!, a rep for Spears said that the claims against their client was false, joking that Lady Gaga might be the next target in line for The Wanted. They said:

"What's even more interesting than the false allegations they made is the fact that they have claimed to be picked on by two female pop stars in just a few days. Look out Lady Gaga - there are still three days left this week."
