Britney Spears’ ex-manager Sam Lufti has told a court that the pop superstar was once addicted to amphetamines.

Lufti, who is suing the singer for breach of contract, her mother for defaming him in her book, and her father for punching him, claims that Spears was a regular drug user, regularly popping more than 30 prescription pills a day:

"She liked to use amphetamines. Mostly everything that went wrong was because of this drug."

He also told Los Angeles Superior Court that the reason she famously shaved her head in 2007 was that she feared it contained traces of illegal substances and that the judge presiding over her custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline would demand a drug test.
