Britney Spears on Vegas residency rehearsals: 'I've never been so sore'

'Work Bitch' superstar Britney Spears recently covered the latest edition of Las Vegas's Player magazine and opened up about her impending Sin City residency, which is set to kick off in December.

She explained that getting into shape for the huge run of dates has been challenging because it's such a massive commitment: "When you tour, it’s so hard on the body. I look back and I don’t know how I did it. I have not been this sore in my entire life."

"When I started working out, I was sore for like, three days. I could hardly move. I’m really challenging myself with the choreography…Whenever I do a show, I’m really keen on making it a show. I love to dance and perform. Because it’s Vegas, I want to do something different. This is the perfect place to bring it to the next level.”

Spears also admitted that she still isn't used to the constant media attention and tries to avoid it where she can: “This is the thing. I’m actually really shy. I don’t like having my picture taken. I don’t like the attention, but it’s something that comes with success. I’ve accepted the paparazzi are going to be there; I just try to wear the same thing every day so I become uninteresting.”

Her 'Britney: Piece of Me' residency will begin on December 27 at Planet Hollywood.
