Britney Spears on recording Katy Perry penned song: 'I was so proud to sing on it'

Pop megastar Britney Spears has revealed that recording a song co-written by Katy Perry was a dream come true although they didn't actually manage to find time to get together in the studio.

MTV News spoke to the 'Till The World Ends' hitmaker about the collaboration on the track named 'Passenger', which made it onto Spears' new album 'Britney Jean', and explained that they didn't work directly together but were excited about the project:

"We actually didn't get in the studio together. My people and her people worked it out, but I'm a huge fan of hers. I think she's an amazing vocalist and she has a beautiful voice... And I love the song."

Spears quickly added that she loved the track from the first play and new it was right for her new album: "From the moment I heard the song, I was like, 'This is really beautiful.' So I was really proud I was able to do it."
