Ahead of beginning a two year residency in Las Vegas, Britney Spears has expressed how much she misses her home state of Louisiana.

The ‘Work Bitch’ singer was born in the rural town Kentwood, Louisiana.

Speaking to E! Online about the notion of moving back home, Britney mused:

“If I happen to have another baby or something like that, I'd probably move back to Louisiana.”

She also revealed what she misses about her native state:

“I do miss Louisiana. I miss the people. I miss the food. I miss the way of life, how everything is really simple. There's no traffic like there is in L.A. It's really nice.”

The pop superstar also tackled the subject of prospective retirement from the music industry by saying:

“I have thought about it, but I think right now is my time to perform and doing what I'm doing.”

Britney Spears recently revealed the set list for her ‘Piece Of Me’ Las Vegas show which kicks off on December 27.
