Bruno Mars and Red Hot Chili Peppers rock Super Bowl half-time show

Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers have become the latest acts to perform the coveted Super Bowl half-time show.

The 'Unorthodox Jukebox' man was the main musical attraction at this year's American Football event, which took place last night (February 2) in New Jersey.

He took to the stage during the half-time interval of the game, which ultimately saw the Seattle Seahawks thrash the Denver Broncos 43-8.

Mars opened with a drum solo before launching into hit single 'Locked Out of Heaven' and 'Runaway Baby'.

He then segued into the Red Chili Peppers' performance of their classic tune 'Give It Away' before the US star ended with 'Just The Way You Are', which was preceded by video clips of dedications from US army personnel.

Mars followed in the footsteps meanwhile of previous Super Bowl performers such as Beyoncé, Madonna and Michael Jackson.
