Singer Bruno Mars made a surprise appearance on 'Jane The Virgin' this week and performed a song named 'Rest Of My Life'. 

His cameo took place during Jane and Michael's wedding reception on the show and he performed a romantic rendition of the song, which can be seen below.

The superstar took to his official Twitter page last night, shortly after the episode aired in America, and posted the following message: "SURPRISE!! Thank you to all the good people @CWJaneTheVirgin If you ain't up on this show yet you straight trippin!"

Mars isn't the first music star to appear on 'Jane The Virgin' as Britney Spears appeared on the show last year and was praised by the cast for being such a great comedy actress: “She definitely got comedy chops like nobody’s business, and to go head to head with Jaime is like, the ultimate challenge for a comedic actress because he’s so incredible. She held her own and more. She was very, very good!”
