Bruno Mars wore certain things to the recording studio as it "helped keep the motion going"

Hitmaker Bruno Mars has revealed that recording his new album, 24k Magic, was a great experience and he was careful about the clothes he wore to the studio because he believes it impacts the energy of a project.

The "Grenade" sensation told People magazine that wearing sweat pants into the studio affects the sound as much as wearing a fancy suit, so he dressed for the vibe he wanted to capture on the album:

"I made it a point: I'm showing up to the studio, we working, but I'm not showing up in sweats 'cause you're going to get what sweats sounds like ... so I'm going to wear every jewellery piece I collected, and my finest shoes, and write some songs. It just helped keep the motion (going)."
