Bruno Mars went straight in at number 1 in the UK singles chart last night (January 16) with his second release, 'Grenade', and he has notched up some equally impressive statistics. 

The Official Charts Company revealed that Mars has achieved the highest first week single sales for a January release since Babylon Zoo's 'Spaceman' back in 1996. 

In addition to this, Mars' first headlining UK tour has already sold out after only being made available recently.
