Grammy award-winning Bruno Mars performed live on last night's (April 28) episode of American Idol and wowed the audience with his flawless, and brass heavy, rendition of 'The Lazy Song'. 

Mars, who was recently named as one of TIME magazine's 100 Most Influential People, took the stage on the popular music talent show yesterday to promote his latest single, which is currently at number 15 in the UK charts but moved an impressive 10 places to 5 during the midweek update.  

The set up on stage was more than appropriate for the track's lyrical content as his backing musicians were relaxing on sofas rather than standing at microphones and the added brass section really brought it to life. You can watch the clip in full, here:
