Bruno Mars tells fans to expect "something" in October

'Grenade' sensation Bruno Mars has finally teased fans with some information about his highly-anticipated sophomore album.

During an impromptu question and answer session on Twitter in the early hours of this morning (September 4), the singer-songwriter was quizzed about a potential release date for the record and simply responded by explaining that "something" will be unveiled next month:

"You'll hear something in October. I promise. :)"

Back in May, Mars joked that he was doubtful any new material would see the light of day for at least another 11 years and tweeted: "I want you hooligans to know I'm locking myself in the studio until this album is done!! I love y'all so much! With that being said i'll see you guys in 2023."

Meanwhile, super-producer Diplo recently admitted that Mars' second album will be the "biggest thing on the planet".
