Singer-songwriter Bruno Mars has set an exciting record on Spotify with his single, 'Locked Out Of Heaven'.

The track has become the first ever to be streamed more than 1 million times on the service in a single week and Mars earned the impressive record on Spotify in the U.S. for the week beginning December 16, 2012.

'Locked Out Of Heaven' was also the most downloaded song in America during that same week.

Meanwhile, the sensation took to his official Twitter page recently to inform his fans of his fitness regime and joked: "I know what you're thinking and the answer is yes I work out 3 times a day. A Shirt less pic u ask? Well here's the thing. I gotta go k bye."

Mars is set to perform later tonight (January 11) on Jimmy Kimmel Live for the second part of a two-night "Hooligans outdoor extravaganza".
