Bruno Mars to wear Dolce & Gabbana on tour as the designers are convicted for tax evasion

'Locked Out Of Heaven' superstar Bruno Mars has revealed that he will be wearing custom suits made by famed designers Dolce & Gabbana although the Italian pair are now facing jail time.

The fashion duo were convicted for serious tax evasion ($268 million) earlier this week and have been sentenced to 20 months in jail, but the garments they designed for singer Mars will still be worn by him during his upcoming run of shows.

A statement from Dolce & Gabbana explains that despite the situation they are currently facing, they have forged a great relationship with the musician and are proud he will wear their clothing:

"Bruno's style and music are so eclectic that oftentimes we have taken inspiration directly from his work to create looks that were at the same time in line with his very personal taste, as well as with the DNA of Dolce & Gabbana."

"With time, we have managed to establish with him a relationship of absolute faith in each other and mutual trust, that allows us to create and work together in an atmosphere of complete harmony."

Mars took to his official Twitter page earlier this evening (June 20) and praised the designers' style, writing: "@dolcegabbana got us lookin slick for this tour! #LOOKOUT!"
