Calvin Harris has given more details about a new song he penned for Rihanna.

The Scottish hitmaker first teamed up with the 'Stay' stay for the 2011 single 'We Found Love'.

He recently admitted that he wasn't selected to feature on Rihanna's upcoming eighth record despite submitting content.

Speaking to KISS FM, the DJ and producer said that he created one track for Rihanna which had Tinashe featuring on vocals.

However, it seems the tune didn't make the cut. Harris said:

"I had an album to finish, so I did that. But I did one track and Tinashe wrote the top line, and I did all the music. I love it. But I don't think she was into it. So I don't know what is going to happen to that because it's really good."

The Scot also suggested that Rihanna's new album will land "really soon".
