Calvin Harris explains Katy Perry cancellation

Calvin Harris has taken to social networking site Twitter to explain his sudden cancellation of being Katy Perry's support act on the UK and Ireland leg of her California Dreams tour.

Shortly after the 'Teenage Dream' singer shared the news with her followers, on March 28, Harris decided to defend his decision and wrote:

"Sorry to all who wanted to see me with Katy - her team suddenly moved the goalposts, and i was to appear on stage with no production"

"It would have looked shit, sounded shit - trust me you would have been more disappointed SEEING the show than u are with me cancelling"

"That's the honest truth"

"Her show is AWESOME, you'll all have an amazing time without me. (especially w/o me DJing on a cardboard box in front of a pink curtain)"
