Calvin Harris says Rihanna came to him for 'We Found Love' collaboration

Calvin Harris has revealed that Rihanna was the one who instigated their hit collaboration 'We Found Love'.

The track, which was released in 2011 on Rihanna's 'Talk That Talk' album, went on to achieve massive success in worldwide singles charts and on YouTube too.

Scottish DJ Harris however told 4Music that it was actually the superstar 'S&M' singer that approached him first about working together. He said:

"The only person I've sought out is Florence from Florence + the Machine. Everyone else has come to me. Even Rihanna. Can you believe that?"

Harris also spoke about his upcoming album release, which he said will be more of a compilation than a new effort - however, it is set to feature a new collaboration with Ellie Goulding. The hitmaker said:

"My album's out at the end of October. It's more like a compilation. It's like a 'Now' album, but with me all over it. I've got everything you've heard since the start of 2011 on there. [I've got a song] with Ellie Goulding on there, which is great. We finished that last week."
