CeeLo Green to receive Outstanding Achievement MOBO

CeeLo Green will be honoured with an Outstanding Achievement Award at the 20th MOBOs tonight (November 4).

The singer behind 'Forget You' and 'Crazy' ft. Gnarls Barkley will also appear at the event held at the First Direct Arena in Leeds, UK. The awards will be televised live on ITV2.

Atlanta-born Green's new album, 'Heart Blanche', will be released this Friday (November 6).

The Music Of Black Origin awards ceremony will feature performances from Ella Eyre, FKA Twigs, Rita Ora, Naughty Boy, Lianne La Havas, Stormzy, Lethal Bizzle and Krept And Konan

Grime acts, Krept And Konan and JME, have received four nominations each. 

41-year-old Green joins former recipients Boyz II Men, Sean 'Diddy' Combs and Mick Hucknall from Simply Red.

Rap star Wiley will be honoured with the inaugural Paving The Way award, for which a paving stone will be laid at his former secondary school in Bow, east London.
