Cee Lo Green lands book deal, is writing his memoirs

Cee Lo Green has joined forces with Grand Central Books and has confirmed that he is writing a memoir, which will be published by the company in 2013.

The 'Bright Lights Bigger City' sensation revealed the exciting news in an official statement and explained that he can't wait to get his ideas onto paper for his fans to read:

"FORGET YOU? After reading my book, there will be no doubt that I am meant to be. You will enter into the supernatural, the surreal, and extraordinary. As CeeLo Green, a.k.a. 'everybody's brother,' I will make you a believer. I talk about art imitating life; YOU discover CRAZY."

According to Billboard.com, Rolling Stone's contributing editor, David Wild, will co-author the book and Beth de Guzman, Vice-President and Editor-in-Chief of Paperbacks at Grand Central Publishing, added:

"He dresses in sequined capes, performs with the Muppets and Madonna, and does 360° flips with a grand piano at his fingertips.  Imagine all that outrageously unique and creative talent channeled into a book."
