Celine Dion has taken the somewhat unusual steps of going topless for a magazine photoshoot.

The veteran singer posed for the revealing snaps in the new issue of V magazine, with Dion seen holding her modesty with her hands.

The 'My Heart Will Go On' star is wearing black trousers and black gloves in the shots.

Speaking to V, Dion said that she was a "little scared" because of the shoot's nature, but added that she is pleased that it gave her the chance to "go crazy". She said:

"I'm like this in my real life. I was scared a little bit because this is so different for me, but I'm glad I did it. Usually there's always a reason when I do a photoshoot, there's not the opportunity to go crazy."
