Cheryl Cole took to Twitter to offer some deep thoughts as she gets into "writing mode".

The singer is currently working on the follow-up to her 2012 album 'A Million Lights' and it seems she is getting into the lyric writing spirit.

The Girls Aloud star posted on Twitter: "The world might be a better place if we tried understanding peoples reasons rather than judging their actions."

Cole later said: "Nobody truly knows another's inner turmoil...Writing mode #deepconvosdeeptweets."

It was previously revealed that the X Factor judge's bandmate Nicola Roberts has been helping Cole on new material.

She recently said on Twitter: "I have loved writing for Cheryl! So much fun! Sometimes a heavy heart has come, being a best friend & writing from that perspective for her. Can't wait for you to hear her new music..."
