Cheryl has opened up on being an X Factor judge for the second time.

The singer joined the UK show's judging panel this year alongside the likes of Simon Cowell and Mel B for a second stint.

Speaking to Capital FM, the Brit said that mogul Cowell is still up to his old tricks on set:

"He's still annoying, still incredibly annoying, if not more so. I believe he was pinching me physically yesterday, I may have a bruise! He's as annoying for sure, nothing's changed there."

Referring more generally to her return to the ITV show, Cheryl said:

"It's been amazing actually, you know, it's like getting on a bike, you never forget how to ride it. It's like I've never been gone."

The panel - which also includes stalwart Louis Walsh - are currently auditioning acts across the country.
