Cheryl Cole is number one in this week's mid-week Official UK Top 40 Albums Chart with 'Messy Little Raindrops'.

Eleven thousand unit sales separate the singer's second solo album from Bon Jovi's 'Greatest Hits' album, whilst Rumer's 'Seasons of My Soul' is the third biggest seller so far this week.

Cole mentors Cher Lloyd on 'The X Factor', and picked Shakespears Sister's 'Stay' as her song choice for the Halloween special on Saturday (October 30). This track may now return to the Top 10 this Sunday as it's currently eighth place in the midweek sales chart.
