Cheryl Cole, who was recently confirmed as a judge on X Factor USA, wants to spice up American television screens with an array of bright outfits to make her stand out on the panel. 

The 'Parachute' singer already made headlines last week when she arrived for the first day of filming with an incredibly back-combed and bouffant-style hair do, but she wants to continue to be set apart from the other judges by brightening up her appearance.

"My style and image is already going to be different as I'm British and we have different taste anyway. But I absolutely love colours at the minute. It make everything feel bright and alive, so I am going to go colour crazy while I can."

The 27-year-old star is a huge fan of fashion and name-dropped a list of designers she is likely to wear on the show:

I love loads of designers like Diane Von Furstenberg, Philip Lim, Miu Miu and Stella McCartney, but the list goes on and on to be honest. There are some lovely clothes out there."
