Cheryl Cole has opened up on her relationship with Simon Cowell, stating that she doesn't even really think about him.

The pair hit it off on the X Factor when she was appointed judge, showing off tangible chemistry.

However, their relationship turned a little more sour after Cowell dumped her from X Factor USA whilst they were auditioning contestants.

Speaking to BBC Radio 2, Cole said that these days Cowell doesn't even cross her mind and that she gets frustrated that people always want to talk about him. She said:

"In my mind it's years ago, but people keep talking about him. It doesn't matter where I go, what interview I'm doing, people want to talk about Simon."

She added: "I don't really even think about Simon, doesn't really come into my brain."
