Cheryl Cole reveals that she recorded a rap with Will.i.Am

British songstress Cheryl Cole recorded rap parts for one of Will.i.Am's songs, it has been revealed.

The pair have been close friends for several years now and Cole explained that during a studio session she worked on an edgy track with the Black Eyed Peas superstar and put her rapping skills to the test, although the song hasn't yet seen the light of day.

Speaking to Muzu.tv, she explained: "Will.i.am still has the song, so if you want to hear it you need to ask him."

"I think I inspire him. I think you'll find on his next record I inspire him with my rap masterpiece."

She also revealed that she's seen some familiar faces in the crowds at her gigs and most recently she spotted Coronation Street's Becky McDonald, who is played by an actress named Katherine Kelly:

"I met Becky from Corrie. It was mutual love. I think I called her Becky which is so cheesy. Her real name is Katherine."
