Cheryl Cole finds upcoming arena tour "daunting"

Cheryl Cole has admitted that she finds the idea of touring arenas in the UK by herself a little scary.

The Geordie is used to trawling the country's top venues with Girls Aloud but she is set to do it all by herself when she takes her solo tour on the road in October.

Speaking on ITV's Daybreak, Cole admitted that flying solo in such big venues is a "daunting prospect". She said:

"I've done the huge arena tours with Girls Aloud before, but to do it on my own is still a daunting prospect."

The 'Call My Name' singer meanwhile commented on plans to celebrate Girls Aloud's tenth anniversary in November. She said:

"Our tenth anniversary is this year. It's a massive achievement. It's exciting to be back doing something - our birthday is in November."

As previously reported, DJ Fresh has claimed that that he has been working in the studio with Girls Aloud ahead of their 10th birthday.
