Cheryl Cole debuted a massive tattoo on her back as Girls Aloud returned to the live circuit last night (February 21).

The pop group are currently touring the UK and Ireland on their 10th anniversary reunion tour, opening in Newcastle.

Cheryl Cole fans, however, got a bit more than they bargained for as she showed off a grand rose themed tattoo on her lower back.

The singer is no stranger to body art but her latest piece is particularly eye-catching.

Girls Aloud meanwhile played a set full of their top hits, with the quintet supported by X Factor alumni Amelia Lily.
