Cheryl Cole sparks Girls Aloud break-up rumours with final show tweets

Girls Aloud songstress Cheryl Cole has posted a series of tweets to mark the end of the band's reunion tour that have set fans' tongues wagging about what the future holds for the pop stars.

The 'Promise This' beauties will perform their final concert tonight (March 20) in Liverpool and Cole took to her official Twitter page earlier this afternoon to thank Girls Aloud's fans for such amazing support over the years:

"Last show!!! When did that happen??! It was just 5 minutes ago we were starting rehearsals! Feel like I've been in a time machine. And now we're here!! One of my favourite places ever for the last show!! Liverpool!!! LETS GOOOOO..."

"To the people that haven't been able to make it, for what ever reason, we feel your support regardless and have done for 10 yrs.. To the people that have been to almost as many shows as we have lol let's make this a celebration of the past 10 years."

Following her emotional messages, Cole's fans have been asking if this evening's show will mark the definitive end of Girls Aloud with one writing: "@CherylCole your scaring us! Is this the end of girls aloud?"
