Cheryl Cole: 'I'm glad my twenties are finally behind me'

Songstress Cheryl Cole has revealed that she's glad to finally be out of her twenties because she now feels more confident and has grown into herself.

She explained that she has no regrets about the past decade although it was a turbulent time for her and now looks at herself as a woman rather than just a girl:

"I don't [wish I'd done anything differently]. The good, the bad and the ugly... it's all character-building and makes you the woman you are. [Turning 30] almost felt like a sigh of relief."

‘I'm glad to put my twenties behind me. They were amazing - don't get me wrong - and I've crammed so much in, but I'm like, 'Relax.'"

Last week, the 'Fight For This Love' beauty shared a snapshot of herself as a child posing with her mother and opened up about how she takes care of her skin now that she's 30:

"[I like] drinking red wine. And I do like the occasional cigarette. It's bad, I'm aware of that. I put on extra serum. Alcohol is dehydrating for the skin. And flying. I fly a lot, so I have to keep on top of that."
