Originally from Virginia, LeeLee has been singing since she could speak. After being accepted to the top performing arts academy in Las Vegas (a school known for cultivating talent such as Ne-Yo), LeeLee was soon made a member of the school’s head choir. Unfulfilled by singing alone, LeeLee joined the dance team who travelled all over the US competing and showing off their talents. 

A chance meeting between LeeLee and producer Jimmy "Klev" Juarez (Tionne "T-boz" Watkins of TLC, Mya, BabyBash and Nate Morris of Boyz II Men) led to Klev taking on the active role of producer for LeeLee's debut single and forthcoming album.

LeeLee released her debut single ‘BoomBada’ on 8th August 2011 through Jimmy Klev's own imprint Daywalker Records (distributed by UMG), the video for which received heavy rotation on music channels such as Kiss TV, Starz, Flava TV and AKA.

The follow up single ‘Looks Good on You’, was again produced by Jimmy Klev, as well as being co-written and co-produced by Grammy Award-winning Kandi Burruss (who is also a reality TV star on Bravo Channel’s ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’) and the video, which was directed by Ali Zamani (Common, T-Pain, Waka Floka ft. Drake), features a surprise cameo from YouTube sensation Keenan Cahill (Katy Perry, 50 Cent, LMFAO, Big Time Rush, Gym Class Heroes, Cobra Starship, Flo Rida, Jennifer Anniston).

As well as remixes from Chicago's Jump Smokers (Roman, DJ Flipside, Reydon & Johnny Digital) – who have created club bangers for the likes of Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Usher, Beyonce, Pink and Rihanna – the Wideboys and Cahill remixes have been getting great feedback, with the Cahill remix reaching #44 in the Euro-HiNRG Top 50 Club Chart.
