With a head nod from The Outhere Brothers, triple-threat artist Ayo Beatz is set to release his debut commercial single ‘Boom Ayo’.

Produced by Ayo Beatz himself, ‘Boom Ayo’ is an up-tempo, electro-break beat filled interpolation of the 90’s hit ‘Boom Boom Boom’ by The Outhere Brothers, brought up-to-date by Ayo Beatz’s signature synth sounds and honest realism in his lyrics.

Although giving respect to the aesthetic of the original, Ayo Beatz not only stamps his identity on his version, but also successfully balances an underground and club aesthetic, with elements from the mainstream. And with an exciting array of remixes from the Buzz Junkies,  the dubstep beats of CASSETTi and The Mike Delinquent Project to the electro house sounds of Joe Garston, ‘Boom Ayo’ is set up to be a guaranteed club and chart hit.

The soft release of ‘Far Away’ allowed 2011 to be a big year for the self-taught musician, which featured DJ Ironik and Joelle Moses (The Voice-BBC) and the accompanying remix featuring Wretch 32, Ironik, Baby Blue, Bigz and Shay generated a massive buzz around AYO Beatz and received 243,000 views on YouTube with no formal promotion. Also, not forgetting the 2011 club hit ‘You Owe Me’ featuring Labrinth, who he attended Music College with and is a friend.

Definitely charismatic and exceptionally gifted, the multi-talented producer, rapper and songwriter who hails from Hackney, London, is fast becoming a much sought-after producer by UK and international acts. 

The 25-year-old is currently working on his debut album that is set to be released later this year, and will be on the tip of everyone’s tongues in 2012 and beyond.
