Chris Brown reveals new tattoo of woman's battered face

'Turn Up The Music' hitmaker Chris Brown has been showing off a brand new tattoo, but the new addition to his growing collection of body art has set tongues wagging around the globe.

The ink, which is on his neck, appears to be of a woman's battered and bruised face and has attracted a lot of attention because of the similarities it bears to the photograph (pictured below) taken of his ex-girlfriend Rihanna back in 2009 after he assaulted her.

Back in August, the Bajan beauty sat down for a candid interview with chat show icon Oprah Winfrey and explained that despite their turbulent history, she still considers Brown to be the love of her life: "It's awkward because I still love him."

"My stomach drops and I have to maintain this poker face and not let it get to the outer part of me. I have to maintain it and suppress it. When you don't understand those feelings you can make a lot of mistakes."

Brown is yet to speak out about his new tattoo, but his publicist reportedly told Entertainment Weekly that it's got nothing to do with the 'Where Have You Been' songstress.
