Hailing from an area of the UK which drips in a rich history of acoustic artists…..Devon’s own 2 piece Moriaty have ripped up the rule book and exploded onto the South West music scene with their effervescent brand of fuzzed up dirty blues.

With a live show that will quite literally blow you away it’s hard to ignore this talented duo. Having spent the past 2 years honing their song-craft and melting faces with regular gigs in the SW, Bristol and London, the band are now ready to hit the road in 2013.

The band released their debut EP ‘Lord Blackwood’ in late 2011 and followed up with a free EP ‘Never Too Heavy’ in late 2012 they are now working with John Cornfield (Muse, Stone Roses, Supergrass, Athlete) on follow up material. If live outings of new songs is any gauge their new work is going to totally eclipse what’s come before.

Moriaty are currently promoting their new single ‘Mindsweeper’ which is due for release on the 15th of February as a free download.
