Coldplay confirmed to perform intimate church gig in London

Coldplay have confirmed plans to play in a church in London next month.

The band will perform at Hackney's St John's Church on December 3.

The gig is being held in conjunction with BBC Radio 1 and tickets will go on sale on Monday (November 16).

Fans will be able to buy tickets during Annie Mac's show that evening, with a maximum of two per person.

Chris Martin commented: "Last year we did Big Weekend and about nine other concerts in tiny places, so we're raring to go."

Annie Mac added: "There is nothing more exciting than a live gig on Radio 1, I can't wait to have Coldplay perform exclusively for my show.

"It'll be great to hear music from the new album performed in such an intimate setting."

Coldplay will be promoting their upcoming new album 'A Head Full of Dreams'.

The record is due to land on December 4.

The track 'Adventure of a Lifetime' is now available to buy and stream.

The band are also scheduled to perform at Capital FM's Jingle Bell Ball at London's O2 Arena on December 5.
