Accompanied by lasers, fireworks and lots of confetti, Coldplay rocked the Glastonbury Pyramid stage last night (June 25) as they headlined the festival for the third time.

The band opened the set with a new song ‘Hurts Like Heaven’ and would include three more new tunes as the night went on. Chris Martin noted: “Hope we exceed your expectations and sorry for playing some new songs - some day they will be your favourites.”

Watching the concert from the sidestage was Martin’s wife, actress Gwyneth Paltrow, Simon Pegg, Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z.
