Coldplay reveal plans for concert film

Coldplay have announced that they are to release their first concert film since 2003.

The band’s creative director, Phil Harvey, took to Twitter earlier today to inform fans that the ‘Paradise’ quartet will follow-up their last official live DVD, which was filmed at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion nine years ago, later this year.

He said: “#coldplayfilm coming later this year. our first concert film since 2003. but where to film it? PH”

The unofficial fifth member and former manager of the band, who kick off the North American leg of their 'Mylo Xyloto' world tour in Edmonton later tonight, then added: “Oh yes there will be wristbands.”

Several fans then responded to the news to offer their suggestions as to which tour date should be recorded, with South Africa, Mexico and Atlanta just some of the locations mentioned.
