Coldplay have put their own spin on Beastie Boys' '(You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party)' in honour of the late Adam 'MCA' Yauch.

Yauch sadly passed away yesterday (May 4) after suffering from cancer since 2009.

He was a co-founder of the seminal rap trio, respected by many across the music industry.

Coldplay today (May 5) posted a video of themselves performing the Beastie Boys track whilst playing in America last night.

They put their own slant on the song as they paid homage to Yauch.

The music business meanwhile has been expressing its sadness at the news of Yauch's death, with the rock, rap and pop world coming together to pay tribute to the MC.
