Coldplay have released the video for their latest single 'Hurts Like Heaven'.

The British rock group are taking the track off of their 2011 album 'Mylo Xyloto' and it will be the fifth single release from the record.

The song will be released on November 19 and today (October 8) Chris Martin and Co. unveiled the accompanying video for the track.

The clip runs with the Mylo Xyloto cartoon theme, with the story focusing on two lovers who fight against dictatorial rule.

As previously reported, Coldplay are set to release a batch of comics based around the 'Mylo Xyloto' story.

The band are bringing out a series of comics based on the ideas surrounding their 2011 album of the same name.
