Coldplay live DVD set for one-night-only screening worldwide

Brit rockers Coldplay have announced that their forthcoming live DVD will be shown in cinemas around the world for just one night to mark its release.

'Coldplay Live 2012' was directed by Paul Dugdale and includes concert footage from the band's performances in Paris, Montreal and at the 2011 Glastonbury Festival, and is set to hit theatres globally on November 13.

Fans can head to coldplay.com/cinema to see where their nearest locations are. Premium television network EPIX will also premiere 'Coldplay Live 2012' on November 17, before it's released on CD/DVD, Blu-ray/CD and digitally two days later on November 19.

In a statement, frontman Chris Martin explained: "The Mylo Xyloto tour has been the most fun we've ever had as a band. It's felt very uplifting right from the start; partly because we are proud of the music, the LED wristbands, the pyrotechnics, the lasers and all of that stuff, but mainly because of the amazing audiences that we've been playing for."
