Coldplay calm three-year break talk

Coldplay have dismissed suggestion that they're set to take three years off.

As previously reported, frontman Chris Martin recently said at a concert in Australia that their gig would be their "last big show for three years or so".

This led some people to believe that the group were going to be inactive for the next three years - something which Chris Martin says isn't true.

He said: "I'm fortunate to do what I do and no way do I want to stop. No chance are we taking a three-year break."

As previously reported, Coldplay have been hinting at their new album name, confirming that it will be easier to pronounce than their last record.

The band's previous effort, 'Mylo Xyloto', was released in 2011.
