Coldplay send postcards home for families

Brit-rockers Coldplay may have spent a large part of the past twelve months on tour, but that hasn't stopped them from keeping up with their loved ones back at home.

Thesmokinggun.com obtained a copy of the 'Paradise' band's rider, which revealed that the members ask for stamped and addressed postcards in their respective dressing rooms so that they can write to their families from the road.

Other items included on their requests list range from biscuits to clean socks and bacon rolls.

Meanwhile, Coldplay's latest album 'Mylo Xyloto' moved up 19 places in yesterday's (January 2) midweek chart update and is currently at No.18 although the final positions are due to be confirmed this coming Sunday, January 6.
