Ross Alan Releases New Single “Homesick”OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASENEWS PROVIDED BY Let's Go Music News Hailing from LA, singer-songwriter Ross Alan’s latest offering ‘Homesick’ is the first track of their forthcoming five-song EP, Revelation. ‘Homesick’ captures a sense of ambience, with a little country, but mostly pop sounds on the tune. Featuring instruments of acoustic guitar, synth, drums, pro tools, and vocals, this particular track will be turning heads in Ross Alan’s direction. The song is about realising that you’ve never felt at home before. Ross Alan wrote the song on acoustic guitar and sent it as a vocal demo to their producer in New York, along with a playlist of songs they wanted to sonically emulate. Then, the producer made the instrumental, they fine tuned it, recorded the vocals and sent everything back to the producer to mix and master until it was perfected. “I always felt out of place growing up. When I was 18, I moved away from Ohio and my family for the first time. Going to college 800 miles away, my first quarter ended for winter break and everyone complained about how they were "Homesick". I realised I wasn't and I had never missed Ohio because it never felt like home. How do you navigate life as you blossom into an adult when you don't know what home is? That's what the song is about.” - Ross Alan AboutABOUT ROSS ALAN
